The merry ways for Australia still continues and they registered yet another victory to their name and now they are on a 10 matches winning streak. At one stage, Australia were 75/6 in the first T20I and things weren’t looking good for the hosts. But Tim David assault from ball one completely changed the momentum from Saffers.
How will South Africa lineup for the 2nd encounter:
South Africa will look to add Rassie Van Der Dussen in the playing 11 as their batting lineup looked thin in the first match where Linde, Senuran and Bosch came as 6,7 and 8 which is not an ideal thing to do against this Australian bowling unit which is headed by Josh Hazlewood. Things will improve or not, it’s a part of the future but South Africa can’t beat Australians if they struggle to hit sixes.
Most probable 11 for 2nd T20I:
Aiden Markram(c), Ryan Rickelton (wk), Lhuandre Pretorius, Rassie Dussen, Dewald Brevis, Stubbs, Linde, Muthuswami, Rabada, Maphaka, Lungi Ngidi
Australia Playing 11:
Australia will continue with the same winning side.
Travis Head, Mitch Marsh(c), Josh Inglis(wk), Cameron Green, Tim David, Mitch Owen, Glenn Maxwell, Ben Dwarshuis, Nathan Ellis, Zampa, Hazlewood
What do we reckon from watching 1st T20I:
After watching the first T20I, it was quite evident that Australia will bat in Gung-ho style. They will be attacking from ball one especially in the powerplay no matter how many wickets they will lose in doing so. They are on a six-hitting competition and it’s bringing fruitful returns to the team.

On the other hand, South Africa never looked chasing the total. Ryan Rickelton who top scored for the visitors never looked get going throughout his innings. He looked like that he had not hold the cricket bat in the recent months. Josh Hazlewood and Co. completely outfoxed them with their brilliant bowling display and Australian fielding was top notch on Sunday.
Pitch Report of Darwin:
The pitch at Darwin was good to bat on in both the innings if we remove one or two odd bowls that were keeping low. Batters can play their strokes if they apply themselves and give them some time on the pitch.
Weather Tommorow:
The weather for the 2nd T20I will be bright and Sunshine with temperature hovering around 30°c. It brought so much humidity and dew the other night and looks it will be the same case again tomorrow.
