Joe Root Century

Joe Root 100 – England ahead in the 4th Test

India vs England 4th test from Old Trafford, Manchestor

This test match given a new hero everyday. It was well again, Day 3 of the 4th test between IND and ENG belongs to England. Indian bowlers were unable to picked up wickets, the Day started with Joe Root and Ollie Pope at the crease. None of the Indian bowler were able to trouble anyone of them, pope made a half-century scored 71 runs before get dismissed on Washington Sundar ball.

The main man of England Joe Root made a fabulous century surpassing many legends of the game on the most runs leaderboard and now only Sachin Tendulkar is ahead of him. He made 150 runs and never looked in any kind of trouble at the crease but fatigue caught him and he got stumped out to Jadeja.

English skipper first with the ball and now with the bat, this series is going great for him. He is at the crease with Liam Dawson at the other end and they will attack from ball 1 on Day 4 with the players in the lower order are not mug with the bat.

Pitch Condition —

The Old Trafford pitch starts to deteriorate on Friday as some balls staying low which means if England put up a good total on the board it won’t be easy for Indian batters to bat in 2nd innings.

Insights:

England will look to Gung-ho from ball one on Day 4 from their Ben Stokes.

India will be hoping to bundle out England team as soon as possible.

With Rishabh Pant being injured, the second innings chasing duty is on the shoulders of Yashasvi Jaiswal to give a good start and bat big.

We will see who comes ahead on Day 4. Will India able to bowled out England early or do they take a huge lead.

I will do the review for Day 4 too until then bye and thanks for the read.
