Rose Bowl Pitch Report:

The wicket of Rose Bowl was seen slightly on the slower side in the game against Birmingham Phoenix where Michael Bracewell took 3 wickets. The outfield is lightening quick which means scoring fours is slightly easier than hitting sixes. 140-150 can be considered as the winning total.

Originals vs Welsh Fire:

The second game of today’s double header is set to be played between Originals and Welsh Fire at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. Welsh Fire currently sitting at the bottom of the table with zero wins in 2 matches. They will look to build some momentum from here, Smith’s bat has been silent in both the games.

Originals coming into this encounter with a win in the last match against Spirits at Old Trafford. Phil Salt is in some sublime form this year and joined by Ben Mckinney at top of the order who scored quick 29 off 12 balls in his debut game. Things are improving for Originals with both the departments showed great skills in the last game.

Manchester Originals 11:

Cardiff Pitch and Ground Report:

The 22- yard pitch of Cardiff is very good for batting. David Warner made 70* and Jonny Bairstow 85* last match here shows how good the surface is to bat on. It is one of the biggest ground in UK when it comes to dimensions, the side boundaries are so big at this ground therefore bowlers who bowl shorter length will be key like Paul Walter who bowls short-of-length as well as varies his pace.
